nerve roots: lead to the cranial gluteal, caudal gluteal, sciatic, and
pudendal peripheral nerves. The cranial gluteal peripheral nerve
innervates the middle gluteal, deep gluteal, and
tensor fascia lata muscles. The caudal gluteal peripheral nerve innervates
the superficial gluteal, and middle gluteal muscles.
